Fertility Nurses Take on COVID-19

From the ‘other half’ of the Rinehart medical team!Lisa Rinehart, RN, BSN, JD and co-author of Getting Pregnant for Dummies (Wiley Publishing 2020) will be part of a new series entitled Fertility Nurses Take on COVID-19, a weekly webinar to support nurses during this unprecedented time. 

The onslaught from COVID-19 that we are all experiencing is a harrowing experience which brings so many more questions than answers. What is the “real” information? Who is affected? Are we doing enough? Doing too little? How can we help our patients get through this? How can we help ourselves get through it? One important tool that we have during such uneasy times is our ability to share experiences, insight and accurate information. 

In our first installment, we will be discussing the following:                                                           
1) The impact of COVID-19 on fertility and pregnancy.

2) How to talk patients through a difficult time, what that conversation should include, and how it should be delivered. 

3) Lastly, and most importantly, we will offer tips on how to support the caregivers.
