To Mask or Not to Mask?

To Mask or Not to Mask?

Many are questioning whether the advice we are hearing will actually make a difference. Well, evidence is growing from around the world that social distancing does work to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

This slowing allows the healthcare system to focus on the truly sick and, hopefully, save their lives. We also know that some people are asymptomatic and can shed the virus through respiratory droplets. The purpose of wearing a mask is to prevent the spread from these unknown carriers.

The Chicago reproductive medicine community all met and are making plans to re-open our centers. We want to ensure that all of you have the chance to become a parent in the safest way possible. Wearing masks is one way to keep us all safe!

I hope to see each of you very soon and, until I can give you a re-open date, if you wish to talk with me about your specific treatment plan, please call my Oak Lawn office at 708-741-7012 and schedule a video conference – they are actually kind of fun!

Happy Passover! Happy Easter! Happy Spring!
